Still banks are graded on visual appearances only in this guide. As Follows:
Good:
Must have 75 to 85 percent of paint in good condition with no rust on the bank. Banks that are not painted but have a natural surface must show no rust, dents or broken
sections. All screws must be original to the piece.
Not all banks are going to be cast iron some are actually alluminum and lead.
Any banks that fall below this grade will only bring a small percentage of the stated estimated value.
Very Good:
Based on 85 to 100 percent of paint with no rust, chips, dents or misssing parts. Natural banks with no paint must show no rust and show some natural age petina
with original screws.
